Gary Owen and Shaquille O’Neal must have enjoyed working together on Shaq’s All-Star Comedy Jam. The two collaborate again on a new TruTV show called “Upload” due to air next month. On the half-hour show that also includes comedian Godfrey, the three will showcase the best of the web clips – you know the kind that go viral with crazy cats, wild personalities, funny babies or hilarious pratfalls. The trio will also bring on special guests, and even create their own comedic sketches.
“I’ve been a fan of truTV for a long time and I look forward to working with my good friends Gary Owen and Godfrey. I’ve always tried to entertain people and I know this show will deliver big laughs,” Shaq said in a statement.
Owen has no plans to quit his day job, though. The comedian will remain on the road this year, checking in this weekend at the Arlington Improv and heading out on tour with Mike Epps. The two will be in Greenville, S.C. at the Bi-Lo Center on February 17th.
