Russ Parr tells a story about a couple that sat next to a group of officers at a restaurant and asked to be moved. The officers ended up paying the check for them and leaving a note that said,”Thank you for your support.” Parr referenced a quote said by President George Bush during the memorial service for the police officers killed and said,”Too often we judge other groups by there worse examples.” Parr mentioned that this was one of the most profound things he’s heard and said we have to stop thinking everyone is the same.
