The voice of God has come to Waze.
Google’s free navigation app has added Morgan Freeman to its lineup of voices designed to gently guide you around local traffic toward your destination.
The actor, who has played God multiple times on the big screen, follows previous celebrity voices Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kevin Hart, among others.
Freeman’s voice feature is a marketing tie-in for his upcoming film, London Has Fallen (the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen). Freeman plays the vice president in the film. In Waze, he addresses the driver as if he/she is the president.
