Roland Martin talks to Bishop Paul S. Morton about black Pastors who support Donald Trump for President, after more than 100 men of the cloth were touted to meet with the presidential candidate.
“I think it’s so very important to meet. I don’t mind pastors meeting with anyone, but to endorse someone, it was out-of-order. We have to protect the Kingdom and I told them I refused to go to a meeting. I think it was a set up. You get us there and then they put the cameras on you,” Bishop Morton said.
What should black Pastors say to Donald Trump?
“I just don’t’ believe we need a 21 century in the white house. I would ask him would he change the way he talks to people because it’s very degrading. If you talk against him he comes back like a child in school. He just needs to be more Presidential.”
