Well, there’s one thing we know for sure on Being Mary Jane‘s third season. It’s that although Mary Jane (Gabrielle Union) opens the season injured in a car accident, she’s going to be getting some sexual healing from her cutty buddy.

We’re not even totally sure that Cutty Buddy has a name on the show, but as an NFL player trying to make it back into the League, he’s played by real-life NFL player turned actor Thomas Jones. Of course, there’s other dramas going on this season as guest stars Jill Scott and Loretta Devine play two women instrumental in the Patterson family’s life this season.

Check out the video from the new season below and tell us – are you glad Cutty Buddy’s back? And what does this mean for Mary Jane and David (Stephen Bishop), especially after the revelations of last season? No spoilers, here, so head over to BET.com or On Demand if you need to be caught up on Season 2 before the new season starts up with a 2-hour premiere on October 20th at 9 p.m.
