Common joined the ensemble “Barbershop 3” cast with Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer starring and reprising their roles in the film Malcolm D. Lee will direct, according to Deadline.
The film will be produced by Cube Vision and MGM. State Street Pictures’ Bob Teitel and George Tillman Jr. of are the lead producers. Also, the third film will be written by Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver.
Common is starring among another ensemble cast in 2016’s “Suicide Squad” in an unknown superhero or supervillain role.
