Yung Berg‘s career as a VH1 reality star has come to a screeching halt after he was arrested for assault.

The general population of women were confused when we found out that Mona Scott-Young had cast Yung Berg for her “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” This guy has proven time and again that he’s a clown with no respect for women (Black women in particular), so Mona got major side-eye over the casting.

Well it seems that viewers won’t have to put with him for much longer after he was booked on three counts of assault and one count on harassment following a violent episode with his girlfriend Masika. It’s taken less than a week, but the network has acted swiftly and decisively! TMZ.com reports that VH1 has fired Berg!

Given all of the violence that has popped off “LHHH” (and any other “Love & Hip Hop” installment for that matter), this does come as a bit of a shock. However, the network has said that Berg is being cut off because of how serious the allegations against him have been.

Supposedly, the fight with Masika started as a dispute over his credit card. Masika told cops that it ended up with him hitting her, dragging her around by her hair, and grabbing her by her throat.

Take note, NFL. VH1 didn’t have to get publicly shamed to address domestic violence appropriately.
