Horoscopes for the week of October 13th

In preparation for last week’s Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Aries, I actually performed a ritual. I took a salt bath for cleansing, lit a white meditative candle for reflecting, and said prayers for releasing. The last prayer I said was actually an FYI to the Universe: “I am ready for change starting the minute I walk outside my door. And so it is done.” I’m pretty sure I opened a porthole with that one because change has definitely been in the air.
Life hasn’t been chaotic though, and I’m still embracing the role of curious observer. But my dreams and intuition have been enhanced, so much so that I am now desperate to free myself of second guesses so that I can begin to trust my inherent sixth sense. In fact, we could all stand to be liberated from the phrase “I don’t know” and trust that we really do. As Toni Morrison said, “Freeing yourself is one thing, claiming ownership of that freed self is another.”
Still, I’m not there yet. I’m in the midst of much reflection thanks to Mercury Retrograde. But I’ll be ready to set some new intentions by next week’s New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Scorpio (remember, these things come in pairs), and by then; I’m confident that I will have mastered the art of manifesting. In the meantime, I think it’s important to contemplate what needs to be owned in your own lives. You really do know what that is, and once you own it, it will set you free.
