Fresh off seeing his boy and collaborator Kanye West’s wedding, Common has dropped a new single from is upcoming CD Nobody Smiling.
The rapper/actor is from Chicago, which has hit new highs – or lows – in gun violence in the last few years.
The single, produced by No I.D. and featuring Vince Staples, take a looks at both the violence and a yearning for spirituality in the city’s troubled neighborhoods.
