Now that Carl Crawford is engaged to Evelyn Lozada, his first baby mama is asking for a $10,000 child support increase!
According to reports, ex-girlfriend Amy Freeman — who shares two children with the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder — says she can’t take care of their youngins with just $5,000 a month. She’s asking a judge to raise Crawford’s payment to a “reasonable” $15,00 per month, or $189,000 a year.
TMZ reports the judge has yet to rule, but judging by the baller’s $142 million contract, we don’t think an extra 10 grand a month will hurt his pockets too bad.
In March, Carl and Ev welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Carl Jr. “I’m literally on cloud nine,” the “Basketball Wives” star said after giving birth to the 8-pound newborn. “My baby boy is so handsome and I’m so geeked! I have been waiting for this little man to arrive and seeing his beautiful face is breathtaking. Thank God he came out quick.”
Hopefully Carl and his first baby mama can get this child support dispute under wraps. If not, we know it’s just a matter of time before the old Evelyn comes out!
