Kenya wasn’t physically harmed but her gay friend who NeNe referred to as a “queen” Brandon suffered a bruised rib. Apollo, who appeared to just be a bystander claimed he was hit in the face during the melee which caused him to react in a brutish manner. We didn’t buy Apollo’s story nor did his wife Phaedra. “He did not get hit in the face,” Kenya confirmed. “It’s not an editing issue. All the cameras you see going is what happened in that room. Nothing was edited.”
After the altercation aired on Bravo, not one cast mate reached out to Kenya. While it was clear to some viewers that she didn’t “start” the scuffle, other cast mates saw it that way. “I think that if you were high, you would believe you saw something that you didn’t see,” Kenya blasted. “Apollo’s the one who acted like a fool and ran across the room and starting beating somebody. He didn’t have anything to do with the situation.” They want to look at me. It’s actually just incredulous to me!”
Kenya was one of two women in the room who did not have a husband by her side at the event and we doubt Christopher would have attacked her if she had. “It was really a punk type of move,” she said. There was one man who didn’t get involved at any cost. Chuck, who had plenty of mouth earlier in the season about Phaedra and Kandi, hid behind his wife.
“I am not surprised because he said some really disgusting things about Kandi and Phaedra. Things that a real man would never say and, as much as I have had my differences with Phaedra, I don’t think it’s right for a man to speak about a woman in that manner. So, he’s a punk in all definitions of the word to me, which was substantiated when I saw him standing behind his wife.”
Kenya Moore doesn’t have the most likable personality but that doesn’t mean she deserved to be stoned in the town square by a z-list celeb more know for being stabbed in his hand on “New Jack City” and dating Halle Berry than his talent. It is not acceptable how Christopher treated Kenya and all she endured after the altercation by NeNe Leakes. NeNe is turning into a bully. Kenya is no one’s victim, nor will she allow you to call her such but right is right and wrong is wrong and there’s no amount of editing that can change that.
Furthermore, NeNe and the rest of the people who blame Kenya for starting the ‘RHOA’ brawl because she simply stood up to meet Christopher’s elevated tension should ask themselves: What would you have done in that situation?
