A Florida firefighter is now without a job because of his political antics at the workplace.
Earlier this year, the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue Department sparked controversy after a roll of toilet paper was spotted at the firehouse with Obama’s picture on it.
Officials say Clint Pierce was responsible for housing the facility with the toilet paper. Pierce, who has spent 20 years on the force isn’t a first time offender.
According to a local newspaper, he displayed his anti-Obama views back in 2011 when he decorated his locker with an anti-Obama sticker and used an Obama clown coffee mug.
At the time, he was told to “refrain from any further posting of political messages on any city property.”
Based on his second offense and further investigation, Fire Chief Harry L. Small decided to terminate Pierce from the department.
