While Democrats and Republicans bickered over the election in the U.S, a Kenyan woman decided to unite both parties through childbirth.
Millicent Owuor named her newborn twins Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. The 20-year-old mom gave birth not far from the village of Kogelo where President Obama’s father was born.
According to Kenyan newspapers, the village was celebrating President Obama’s win as she was delivering her babies. Sources also said there were several babies born in area hospitals who were named after the newly re-elected president.
