Boston Celtic Rajon Rondo took his skills off the court to the classroom.

Rondo surprised freshmen students at Boston’s Burke High School by crashing their algebra class on his day off.

The NBA star even went to the board and taught an equation.

Burke students weren’t the only ones who received instruction from Rondo. He also visited Harbor Middle School to talk about the importance of a quality education.

Sources said that Rondo planned the school visits by himself simply because he wanted to. The visits did not involve any arrangements from his publicity team.

Rondo and his Boston teammates, who are struggling for wins so far this season, will face the Washington Wizards tonight.
