President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle are coming clean about their marriage.

In the latest issue of Good Housekeeping magazine, First Lady Michelle Obama shared some of the secrets behind their successful marriage despite their hectic schedules.

“There’s nothing that prepares you for this life,” Mrs. Obama said. “And we’re the only two people who really understand it.”

Mrs. O also explained how she and the Commander-in-Chief maintain a strong connection on a daily basis.

“We work out together every day,” she revealed. “I usually get up to the gym a little before he does, because I start my day a bit earlier–I [have] hair, makeup, things that he doesn’t have to do. I continue to remind him of that. He usually gets up there when I’m halfway through, so we spend the morning checking in, watching Sports Center.”

The First Couple also manages to keep the romance going on the weekends with movie dates and quiet dinners.

Mrs. Obama said the first family strengthens their bond by dining and praying together every night.

“Dinner is at 6:30p.m. If it means he has to go back and wok meetings afterward, he’ll do it,” she said. “We pray at every meal. Our prayer–the kids usually say it–is, ‘Thank you, Lord, for the delicious food. Thank you for our friends and family and everything we have. Hope we all live long and strong. Amen.’”

BEAUTIFUL!! And the ‘haters’ are saying that “President Obama, leaving God out of his presidency.” When he took the Oath of Office, he included the closing line; “So help me God”. The ‘haters’ don’t like the idea of our First Couple, setting an example that Dubya did do.
