  • Chick-Fil-A made an incredibly bold move when the corporation made a public stance on gay marriage, which possibly resulted in lost revenue.

But Antoine Dodson, the openly gay “hide yo’ kids, hide yo’ wife” gentleman continues to support the restaurant, saying there isn’t a real reason to discontinue patronizing the popular restaurant.

He is well aware of the company’s position, but it’s all about supporting the employees who treat him well.

“The people at the restaurant are nice, they greet me kindly…I’m not supporting the hatin’ man in charge. I’m supporting them hard workers in the kitchen. They treated me well, so how can I fault them?”

While some may agree with Dodson’s stance on the scenario, others in the gay community that it’s his time to shine as an activist and boycott Chick-Fil-A.

“Let me tell you this: I have uncles and aunties who do not approve of gay marriages, but they respect me. I don’t care about one person’s opinion or how they feel. That’s fine. Chick-fil-A makes good meals, and I eat there quite frequently. No one is going to stop me from eating there. If I’m going to have a Chick-fil-A sandwich, I’m going to have a Chick-fil-A sandwich.”

He’s quite optimistic about gay rights, proudly professing that he has the same rights in America as others do. If he wants to get married, he said, “there are plenty of states I can get married in. I like to travel anyway.”

Watch below as the YouTube star speaks on the issue.

    1. Blaqeyedsoul, please stop conforming to the worlds standards. The Bible condemns homosexuality as an immoral and unnatural sin. Homosexuals are unrighteous and will not inherit the kingdom of God. Since both homosexual desires and actions are condemned in the Bible, it is clear that homosexuals “marrying” is not God’s will, and would be, in fact, sinful. There is perhaps no more accurate description of the modern gay rights agenda than Romans 1:31 “they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.”

    3. I love the food but I will no longer patronize the chain. My decision to do so is not because of the statement by the CEO but because the organization donates portions of their proceeds to organizations that actively seek to limit and deny human rights to the LGBT community. I think everyone should make up their own minds about this and I do not think government officials should try to stop them from doing business in their cities or municipalities. However, as a consumer, I cannot consciously patronize them.

    4. I have no probs with gays, & I like Chick Fil A’s grilled chicken sandwiches, so I will continue eating at their restaurants. Anyone who knows anything about the chain knows they founded the company on christian values, & another reason why they are closed on Sundays. I am no believer in religion period, so their stance on gay marriage does not affect my view of the company at all. If two dudes or two women want to get married I say more power to em. It is no one’s business what two adults want to to do, & two dudes or two chicks hooking up has no effect on your life or your marriage. The black community has real problems that need to be solved, & gays to me are not one of them.
