After months of protest about the negative images portrayed on the popular reality television show, "Basketball Wives," the reunion show revealed a sweeter side to the ladies.
Former best friends, Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams, appeared to have hugged and made up, with Lozada clearly on the verge of tears.
Lozada later sat down during an interview on VH1 to talk about the broken friendship, the boycott, and how the events forced her to take at look at her behavior. She also talked about her initial reaction to the comments lawyer and former "The View" co-host made about the reality show.
"I was mad at Starr…there was all this controversy and boycotts, but it forced me to take a look at myself," says Lozada.
She describes her embarrassment by her stepdaughters', age 8 and 9, reactions to the show. She says she encouraged them not to be like her and how she needs to be a better example.
