Designers Falguni and Shane Peacock explained their golden design, “We wanted to create an art statement, taking inspiration from the Nubian warrior queen [Amanishakheto].” Amanishakheto is the Nubian queen who ruled over Meroe in the ancient Kingdom of Kush.
