Ahead of its February 23rd premiere, Hulu has dropped the first trailer for Paradise Season 2, setting the internet on fire about what’s next for one of the streaming world’s most talked-about dramas. The show, led by Sterling K. Brown as Xavier Collins, broke out in Season 1 with its blend of post-apocalyptic mystery, political intrigue, and emotional stakes, earning praise from critics and fans alike and quickly becoming one of Hulu’s buzziest titles.

Season 1 took us deep into a world where society’s elite survived a global extinction event in an underground bunker called Paradise. Xavier, a Secret Service agent, found himself not only solving the high-stakes murder of President Cal Bradford but also uncovering the dark truth behind the bunker’s creation and the cost of survival. By the finale, secrets were spilling, alliances crumbled, and Xavier made a choice that sent him out into the unknown to find his wife, Teri, believed dead but now maybe alive.

Season 2 promises to expand the world in a way we’ve only imagined. The new trailer teases Xavier surviving a harrowing plane crash and venturing into the harsh surface world, where remnants of civilization have adapted in unexpected ways. Meanwhile, back inside Paradise, tensions are rising as residents grapple with political fallout and long-buried truths about their home’s origin. From post-apocalyptic landscapes to bunker politics, this season looks set to balance action with emotion and world-building on a grander scale.

The cast returns with a mix of familiar faces and exciting additions. Brown leads the charge alongside Season 1 regulars like Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, Krys Marshall, and Charlie Evans. Newcomers include Shailene Woodley and Thomas Doherty, who step into pivotal roles that are sure to complicate Xavier’s journey and deepen the mystery of the outside world. There are also tease bits suggesting guest moments from returning favorites like James Marsden through flashbacks, keeping the emotional and narrative threads from Season 1 intertwined with what’s to come.

Paradise Season 2 premieres February 23rd on Hulu with the first three episodes dropping at once, then moving into weekly releases that’ll keep viewers locked in every Monday through the season’s run. With a mix of intense survival drama, new realms to explore above ground, and unresolved questions from the bunker below, this season feels like a fresh chapter while staying true to what made fans fall for the series in the first place. Watch the trailer above and get ready — Paradise is about to get even wilder.
