Lil Baby Arrest Footage Surfaces Online

Yesterday we reported that rapper Lil Baby was arrested in Las Vegas on Monday (August 26) for possessing an illegal weapon.

Today video footage of the arrest has gone viral.

Lil Baby (real name Dominique Jones) was allegedly in Vegas carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, which is a felony. He was in Sin City to perform at NBA baller James Harden’s birthday party. He was taken to the Clark County Detention Center after being picked up outside the Encore resort and casino.

He was released after posting a $5000 bond.

In the clip, Baby offers a nearby security guard “two hundred bands a year” to call someone for help. Baby can also be seen speaking to onlookers, claiming he’s been wrongfully arrested. He then pleads to the police that he must catch a flight, but they don’t seem overly concerned.

“I will give you 200 bands a year, you don’t make 200 bands,” Baby shouts.

Lil Baby’s attorney Drew Findling released the following statement to XXL about his client’s arrest: “To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”
