We’ve been treated to some pretty Tiny Desk Concert appearances lately: Who could forget SWV, Scarface and Juvenile’s recent stop by the beloved music series pretty much rejuvenated his already celebrated career.

Even looking back further, the 2018 performance by H.E.R., Mac Miller’s 2015 episode the the undeniable Erykah Badu have all become iconic musical moments in the digital space.

On Tuesday (August 20) Maxwell revealed he’d be joining the ranks of Tiny Desk alums when, on August 23, his episode is scheduled to hit the web.
