The gospel community is outraged by day time talk show host Wendy Williams after she some choice cut words for the Clark Sisters and their career. However, Kierra Sheard wasn’t going to stand by as Williams made fun of her mother’s singing group.

“You know what when you come for somebody’s mama you don’t play with somebody’s mama,” said Sheard.

The Clark Sisters are classic and their music is lived by everyone. Sheard made sure to give Williams the read with some important facts about the group.

“I have to say not just as a daughter seeing how they’ve been working since the 1960′ up until this era and they are still being played by some of the biggest rappers who are sampling their music,” explained Sheard. “Not to mention Coachella hasn’t had a Black African-American woman to perform and Beyoncé had that sample to play at Coachella.”
