Halle Berry To Star In Sony’s Remake Of 1985’s ‘Jagged Edge’

Halle Berry will reportedly head back to the big screen for Sony Pictures’ reboot of “Jagged Edge,” the 1985 film that starred Glenn Close and Jeff Bridges.
Deadline is reporting that the project is in its early stages of development, and that Sony has yet to comment on the casting.
The original film was a courtroom thriller that involved Bridges’ publisher character being accused of murdering his heiress wife. Close portrayed the lawyer for Bridges character and Robert Loggia was nominated for an Oscar for his role as a private detective.
Berry, who would take on Close’s role, last appeared in 2017’s “Kingsman: the Golden Circle” and the thriller “Kidnap.”
