Gospel artist and Pastor Shirley Caesar knows how to bring the house down with a good praise and worship service. She did it on the Fantastic Voyage two years ago and she’s ready to do it again!
“I haven’t started packing yet I don’t think I’ve unpacked from the last time,” laughed Caesar. “Well I want everybody to come on and jump on it. Go right now. Go on and get that ticket because we are going to sail on the sea of God’s love.”
Caesar will be featured on the upcoming episode of TV One’s Unsung, which documents the life of many musical artists.
“I know! Isn’t that exciting,” laughed Caesar. “It was just wonderful! Friends that I’ve known through the years and some that I didn’t know would be on the show.”
The process of filming with the show brought up both good, bad and sad memories for the minister. “I had forgotten a lot of them but they called it back to my remembering even if I didn’t want to remember it,” she explained.
Through it all she encourages us to, “know that whatever is going on the Lord has it under control.”
