Beverly Bond Shares Stories Of Empowerment In Black Girls Rock Book

Black Girls Rock is a movement that has gone strong for years. Becoming a BET special in 2010, the movement now has a book Black Girls Rock: Owning Our Magic Rocking Our Truth filled with stories of strong and inspirational Black women. Author Beverly Bond is proud of this book and the potential that it holds.

“The book is in stores everywhere,” expressed Bond. “I’m so excited about it.”

It’s not your typical coffee table book, because it’s packed with nothing but the truth. “I think it will be inspiring for everyone,” explained Bond. “I think that the narrative of each of these women has something to share.”
