How many people do you know that can call themselves the human iPod and actually live up to it? Comedian Jay Lamont is just the guy and he’s not afraid to show it.
“I’m saying Tom you can’t go anywhere .You have to stay,” expressed Lamont. “You’re my idol man as far as radio. This is a blast. I’m in the Red Velvet Cake studio!”
If Lamont’s appreciation for Tom wasn’t enough he had to bring President Barack Obama into the mix.
“I want to thank Tom for all that he’s down. And we’re grateful for all that he’s done,” said Lamont in his best Obama voice. “And we’re going to turn this mother out.”
IF Lamont’s so good with impersonations, maybe he can stand in for Tom once he’s retired. “I’ve never heard a Tom Joyner impersonation,” explained Tom.
Lamont responded, “I’ve never heard a Tom Joyner impersonation,” in a perfect Tom Joyner voice. Maybe this could be a thing!
Catch Lamont at the Downtown Dallas Comedy February 16-17 at the Clarence Muse Theater.
