Hood History With Guy Torry: The Durag
2/7/18- African-American women wore scarves on their heads and fashioned the durag from the time of slavery. Before reviving its name, women and men used stockings to tie their head down. In the 90’s it was named the durag and made a little differently which made men happy everywhere. No more snatching your wives and moms stockings!
