Don Lemon’s Sister Passes Away In Freak Drowning Accident
CNN reporter Don Lemon is in mourning due to the death of his big sister.
Page Six reports that his sister died in an accidental drowning accident in Louisiana on Wednesday, February 1. She was 58-years-old.
In a tweet, Lemon thanked his followers for their love and support. “Thanks everyone for your words of sympathy. Please keep my family in your prayers,” he tweeted. “Leisa was my oldest sister & partner in crime growing up. Always hand my back. #RIPbigSis.”

Currently in New Orleans, Lemon will not be hosting his show CNN Tonight.
