Lena Waithe To Guest Star On ‘This Is Us’
ABC’s hit show This Is Us will have writer Lena Waithe guest star in their next episode.
TV Line reports, The Chi creator will guest star on the show as an animal shelter worker who acts as an advisor to character Kate.
The Emmy winner for the Master Of None series got the part thanks to her good friend Kay Oyegun the writer for This Is Us. She thought she’d be able to play the part.
In other television news, Waithe will be returning to the second season of Dear White People on Netflix.
