Serena Williams is returning to the game! After winning the Australian Open in February while 8 weeks pregnant, giving birth to her daughter in September and getting married, she’ll be returning to the game.
Metro.Co.Uk reports that the 23 grand slam winner will return to the game on Saturday, December 30 in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.
Williams will play an exhibition match against Jelena Ostapenko to get her feet wet. The tennis world will be watching to see just how the tennis great gets back to the game after giving birth.
Many believe that her performance during this match will be a preview of what she’ll play like if she returns to the Australian Open to defend her title.
