Serena Williams can now add another accomplishment to her sterling resume: she’s a mother. The tennis champion and her fiancee, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian are now the proud parents of a baby girl, something Ohanian predicted on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.
Although multiple reports have said the baby is a 6 pound, 13 inch girl, neither Serena nor Ohanian have officially confirmed, not even via Reddit, which has been called the front page of the Internet. However, we can probably believe Beyoncè who congratulated Serena via Instagram.
And of course, there is Serena’s own sister, Venus, currently holding down the family career at the U.S. Open. People.com reports that she was asked about Serena minutes before stepping onto the court for her match tonight.
“Obviously I’m super excited. Words can’t describe,” Venus told ESPN.
