Whoa! That’s what fans of Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock must’ve thought when they experienced BOTH comedy giants on the stage at the SAME time.

It happened Saturday night (03-25-17) as Rock was unexpectedly joined by Chappelle at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. The new dynamic duo were preceded by Eric Andre and Jeff Ross, two headliners in their own right.

We hear Chappelle tried to stay away from some of the more controversial jokes presented in his recently released Netflix specials, instead deciding to poke fun at the Zika virus, Caitlyn Jenner and Amish people. He did address the controversy however.

“Coming after me for feminist issues is a waste of time,” he told the audience, “You know what the feminist movement needs? A male leader.”

Otherwise, Rock and Chappelle joked about Donald Trump and his failed health care bill, Michael Jackson and Chappelle’s wife.

Ending the set, Chappelle said that the set may have been “the flyest things I’ve ever been a part of,” adding: “The only thing better would be if Eddie Murphy lowered from the rafters.”

Well Eddie Murphy wasn’t there, but the audience was littered with celebrities including Rosario Dawson and Tyra Banks.

Mobile phones had to be checked at the door, but a snap of Ross, Chappelle, Andre and Rock, among others, was taken at the venue.
