We could be wrong, but if this isn’t a sign that things aren’t going well for Bill Cosby on the legal tip, we don’t know what else it could be. According to Deadline, the embattled entertainer has lost another lawyer. Monique Pressley announced in court filings that she is no longer representing the actor after just over a year.

Also, it was a little over two months ago that Christopher Tayback, his main attorney, left after less than a year on the job.

The shakeup in the actor’s defense now sees Angela Agrusa, head of litigation at LA & NYC firm Liner LLP, and Pennsylvania-based Brian McMonagle fronting Cosby’s efforts to avoid a potential decade behind bars on three felony charges of second-degree aggravated indecent assault. Dropped on Cosby late last year, those charges are in addition to a variety of civil cases across the country that the actor is fighting.

Pressley’s departure is a shock to many as she was the primary public face of Cosby’s defense and she frequently and passionately appeared in the media on the actor’s behalf. Deadline says she did not respond to their request for comment about exiting Team Cosby. However, her social media presence is filled with photos and posts about going to court for Cosby during the past several months.
