The Perfect Guy is now available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital release. The sexy suspense thriller that stars Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut follows the story of Leah Vaughn who jumps into a passionate relationship with a charming stranger after a horrible breakup. When her ex-boyfriend resurfaces in her life, she has to figure out who she should trust and who she should fear.
The DVD will include a behind-the-scenes featurette, “Lust and Obsession: Making The Perfect Guy,” a look at the challenges and thrills of filming featuring interviews with the cast, filmmakers and crew.
Sanaa talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about her craziest experience, why she’d stay away from Michael Ealy during breaks and more.
“Michael is probably one of the nicest guys. He’s so professional and so sweet and I like to joke around on set. Towards the end of the shoot he would stay in character. I saw that look in those eyes so I was like let me just stay away.”
On her most craziest moment ever:
“Not too long ago I got into an Uber with a friend of mine, late at night, and I don’t know if the driver was on something…but he reminded me of Michael in the movie. He started yelling and giving us orders. That was a kind of freaky situation that happened.”
Does she believe in the perfect guy:
“I don’t think there’s a perfect guy. We’re by nature, imperfect. We all have our faults and weaknesses we have to work on. But I do believe that we’re all perfect for somebody.”
