Lionsgate wants more of that special tea served up by Wendy Williams every morning.
The studio just added seven years to its contract with the gossip maven, extending the life of her daytime talk show to 2022, reports Variety.
CEO John Feltheimer made the announcement Tuesday during the studio’s earnings call with analysts.
Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury has been syndicating “The Wendy Williams Show” since 2009. This year, Williams received a daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host.
