Jaden Smith loves making headlines, that we know. But what he seems to be loving more these days, is making those headlines about him wearing dresses. No shade, just facts. I mean be it far for anybody to tell anybody else what they have a right to wear or not wear. This is America right?
Anyway, the young Smith was invited to prom by actress 16-year-old actress Amandla Stenberg, who played Rue in The Hunger Games.
Stenberg who looked quite spectacular herself, wearing a bronze dress and spotting some on-point braids, couldn’t steal the headlines from Smith who was wearing black blazer over a long, black and cream-colored block over-the-knee shift dress. The outfit also included black skinny pants, sneakers and a white and gold finger-less glove on one hand. (Was that his rendition of Michael Jackson? Again, no shade, just questions that need to be answered.)
As for Smith’s recent desire to wear dresses, do you think he genuinely is making a political statement about gender and gender identity? Or is he doing it for attention? Or does this young Smith just want to rock a dress because why not?
