Big Sean and Ariana Grande have gone their separate ways after eight months of dating, and Us Weekly claims to have the reason for the split.
The official joint statement from their rep says: “They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.”
Insiders close to the two tell Us Weekly that they ended things “very quietly and amicably” two weeks ago.”
“They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year,” one source tells Us.
The 21-year-old singer and 27-year-old rapper first confirmed they were a couple in October 2014, six months after Big Sean broke off his engagement to “Glee” actress Naya Rivera because citing her violent fits of anger.
