The winter is going to be rather mean to your hair this season, so why not go the extra mile and make a  treat for your precious mane? Try any of these honey treatments to whip your hair back in order!

Hydrating Oil Mask


  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey


  1. Heat up the olive oil for 20 seconds in the microwave.
  2. Mix it with the honey.
  3. Apply to the hair.
  4. Put a shower cap on for about 20 minutes.
  5. Rinse your hair well and style as usual.

De-Frizz Mask


  • 1/2 cup of yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1 tbsp of almond oil


  1. Mix the ingredients together.
  2. Apply all over your hair.
  3. Leave it in for 20 minutes.
  4. Rinse off with a shampoo.
  5. Repeat once a month to completely reduce frizz.

Restoration Mask


  • 1 egg
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 3 tbsp of virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp of buttermilk


  1. Mash the banana, egg and avocado together.
  2. When you get a  smooth mixture, stir in the buttermilk, honey and olive oil.
  3. Apply it all over your hair and let it sit for 20 minutes.
  4. Rinse and style.

Shiny Hair Mask 


  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tbsp of honey

  1. Mash up the avocado until it’s smooth.
  2. Add the coconut milk, olive oil and honey.
  3. Heat up mixture in microwave for 20 seconds.
  4. Slather all over your hair.
  5. Cover with plastic cap for 30 minutes and rinse out.
