Could a lack of activity regarding Khloe Kardashian’s divorce from Lamar Odom in dismissal?
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, a notice of case review default was submitted by Judge Scott Gordon on October 9, notifying Kardashian that the divorce petition she filed against the athlete last year on December 9 could be automatically dismissed for failure to take any action in the case.
While this may be good news for Odom, don’t expect automatic reconciliation from Kardashian.
“Khloe has been told by her attorney, Laura Wasser, that she could file a motion to have the divorce granted, even though Lamar hasn’t formally responded,” a source explained to RadarOnline. “Becoming legally divorced would allow Khloe to move on, while lawyers for the former couple hash out a financial settlement. However, Khloe has held off on taking that drastic step.”
“She can never trust Lamar again, after being cheated on so many times, but she is becoming more and more despondent about her personal life,” the source continued.
As for Kardashian’s on-again, off-again, boyfriend French Montana, the source revealed it “is only a fling.”
“Khloe has said she doesn’t know if she will ever find true love again,” said the source. It’s truly sad.”
It may not be as said, but a quote Kardashian posted on her Instagram page could be labeled as a cryptic message about the relationship she had with her estranged husband, whose birthday was on November 7.
“Like time suspended, a wound unmended — you and I,” the quote read. “We had no ending, no said goodbye. For all my life, I’ll wonder why.”
Although Kardashian and Odom “do talk on the phone sometimes, the source stated that “there is no chance that they will ever get back together.”
“Khloe can’t go back to that dark place, but just seems paralyzed with fear to move forward.”
