You may have heard of a little movie called The Hunger Games? Well the next to last of the four-part story is heading into theaters today.
Jeffery Wright, (Boycott, Shaft) Mahershala Ali (House of Cards) and Evan Ross (ATL) join the cast in this incarnation of the story, which takes places as war breaks out in the Districts.
The American Music Awards airs this Sunday night. Mary J. Blige is on tap to perform with Sam Smith and Pitbull will handle the hosting honors for the second straight year.
Mint Condition, Mike Epps and Patti Labelle are among this week’s live entertainment choices and if you’re in the nation’s capital, you know what it is – the battle for the real H.U. is going down between Howard and Hampton. Here’s more of what’s on tap this weekend.
