Of course, looking anything less than your best is not an option. Try these day-to-day tips to keep your blowout in tip-top shape.
The Blowout
Tip: Whether you are getting a professional salon blowout or you are going to test your at home skills, try to use little to no product. At most, use a small amount of heat protectant serum to help prevent heat damage and frizz. Too much product will leave your hair limp and greasy.
Day 1: Love your straight and silky hair. Do not participate in “hands in hair syndrome” as it stimulates your scalp to produce oil. Make sure you wrap your hair loosely in a silk scarf before bed.

Day 2: Your hair should still be in good condition. Keep your hands out of your hair! Use a comb to manipulate your hair and add volume.
Day 3: This is when your hair will begin to start looking a bit limp. Try a restyling spray like Jasmine Protein Mist by Oscar Blandi. This spray will help bring your hair back to life, giving it moisture but not too much. Spray the product focusing on your roots, then use a round brush and hairdryer to freshen up your strands.
Day 5: Styling dirty hair is always easier, hence why you should skip the shampoo. Dirty hair is more textured, has less fly aways and is easier to shape. Apply more of the dry shampoo to your roots and heat protectant. Lightly curl hair with a flat iron or curling wand in order to get bouncy waves and curls. The flips in your hair will help to camouflage the dirty appearance of your hair.
Day 6: A dirty hair day is a great one to try a trendy look like a fishtail braid or updo. Lightly brush your hair and add oil sheen if necessary.
Day 7: Your hair has lasted an entire week! If you want to get through this last day, try using a texturizing dry shampoo such as Dry
Texturizing Spray by Oribe. It will produce volume in your hair like no other. Try putting your hair in a high bun or ponytail.
