50 Cent Signs On To Produce Film About Black Mafia Family
50 Cent isn’t stopping his executive producing gigs anytime soon.
In fact, he’s riding it to the top — with a hit out of his Starz show, “Power,” which had been renewed for season two already and another upcoming crime drama.
This time, he’s producing a film called “B.M.F.” — a story about the Black Mafia Family.
The Black Mafia was started by brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.
The BMF lasted with as a drug operation from 1990 to 2005.
The Black Mafia is not unheard of in hip hop culture.
Rappers talked about the Black Mafia in their music — like Rick Ross‘ “BMF” and Young Jeezy‘s “B.M.F.,” which featured audio from Big Meech.
50 is producing the film through his production company, Cheetah Vision.
