That Lupita reign just won’t let up. The Kenyan born-actress has already scored a shelf full of awards this season, including an Oscar on her first try. Today she snags yet another fashion landmark – appearing on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter with her stylist, Parson grad Micaela Erlanger and her other client, Downton Abby’s Michelle Dockery.
Score one for Dockery – she may be the most responsible for Nyong’o”s fashionable run through the Oscar season as she introduced Nyong’o to her Erlanger. The two worked together on Nyong’o’s second movie Non-Stop.
Nyong’o is featured with Erlanger as part of The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 25 power stylists issue which also includes Kerry Washington and her stylist, Erin Walsh.
And lest your eyes deceive you, nope, despite their African and African-American clients, not a one of the top 25 stylists is Black.
Check out the fabulous photo of Nyong’o, Dockery and Erlanger on the next page.
