‘Octomom’ Pleads Not Guilty to Fraud Charges

LOS ANGELES (AP) — “Octomom” Nadya Suleman has pleaded not guilty to welfare fraud charges in Los Angeles.
Suleman appeared in court Friday for arraignment and was released on her own recognizance.
The 38-year-old single mother of 14 children is accused of failing to report $30,000 in income when she applied for public assistance benefits.
The next court date was scheduled for Feb. 3.
