DC Council To Vote On Marijuana Decriminalization

D.C., lawmakers voted for a bill that would eliminate criminal penalties for the possession of small amounts of marijuana for personal use. If the bill becomes law, people stopped with an ounce or less of marijuana will face a $25 fine, instead of arrests. The fine for those caught smoking will be $100.
