On the 2014 Fantastic Voyage, don’t expect to see President Barack Obama, Russian president Vladimir Putin, or German chancellor Angela Merkel on the ship. No, the Heads of State that will be onboard the Carnival Conquest will be the kind that can sing.
That means you can expect Johnny Gill, Bobby Brown and Ralph Tresvant to do what they do onboard as the Fantastic Voyage 2014 sails from Miami down to St. Thomas from March 16-23. Heads of State joins Ice Cube and George Clinton, Katt Williams, Chante Moore, Nelly, John Legend and Shaggy on an entertainment-packed 2014 cruise.
“It’s getting ready to be on and poppin’ – you already know that, right,” Gill told the Tom Joyner Morning Show, representing for the group. “Let me tell you something – I’m ready to go and get it in. That’s all I know.”
With the number one complaint of cruisers being that they have to wait in long lines to see the concerts, this year, Fantastic Voyagers will have the opportunity to choose “Red Zone” access so they can see every concert, including the beach concert, from the pool deck.
“Well, if everyone can get it, who’s gonna be in line?” Gill asks.
There’s a limited number, JG. So if you’re heading to the cruise, better get those tickets now. Gill was last on the cruise several years ago, when Brown lost his voice, earning the unofficial FV award for “Drunkest on the Boat,” according to the TJMS crew. Remembering his own experience, Gill has some advice for cruisegoers.
“Bring sneakers or slippers, because you don’t need no shoes,” he says.
