The Michigan Tenure Commission is set to decide on the fate of Judge Wade McCree according to the Detroit Free Press.

Paul Fischer, an examiner in McCree’s judicial misconduct case, believes McCree is unfit to keep his job as a judge.

He made the remarks during the judicial misconduct hearing on Monday, August 5, he said, “Judge McCree is unfit to stand in judgment of others. ” He also added, “He should be removed from office.”

A nine-member Tenure Commission will decide whether or not to heed’s Fischer’s recommendation and remove McCree from his post.

Fischer also recommended that McCree pay over $11,000 in court costs.
