Houston native Tammie Lakesiah Ellis, 36, was arrested and charged with child abandonment after she left one of her sons inside a hair salon.
The salon owner says Ellis brought her two sons to the salon but after her older son’s haircut was completed, she paid and left the salon with the older son leaving her younger son behind.
Soon after, the salon owner notified the police that the child was left behind. Police visited Ellis’ home and could not reach the mother of two.
The child was placed in Child Protective Services.
