Comedians Kevin Hart, J.B. Smoove and Sherri Shepherd will be reunited for Chris Rock’s new comedy “Finally Famous,” according to the TheWrap.

The movie “Finally Famous” follows a comedian-turned-movie-star named Andre, played by Chris Rock, who looks to revive his career as a serious actor.

His fiancée, played by Gabrielle Union, is a realty TV star that has helped him with his sobriety. She is looking to have their wedding staged for her show.

Rosario Dawson is also set to appear in the movie as a journalist assigned to interview Andre for a New York magazine. She is party girl who turned it around, got sober and into a serious relationship but finds there is chemistry when she meets Rock’s character Andre.

Kevin Hart will cameo as Rock’s agent and J.B. Smoove will play “security guard-slash-assistant” to Rock’s character. Shepherd will play Rock’s ex-girlfriend from high school.

“Finally Famous” is written and directed by Chris, marking the third film he has taken on outside of just acting. Other credits for him behind the camera include “Head of State” and “I Think I Love My Wife.”

Hart has been keeping very busy with all of his acting endeavors, having appeared in “This is the End,” and his own concert film “Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain,” just to name a few.

Taking a step outside of comedy and acting, J.B. Smoove has formed a new company Converge Media Group along side his manager Rick Dorfman, comedy agent Conan Smith and indie producer/financier Adam Benowitz. J.B. can be seen in “The Dictator” and “A Haunted House” and is set to appear in the movie “Clear History.”

Shepherd currently hosts ABC’s talk show “The View” and was last seen in the Katherine Heigl movie “One For the Money.”
