Legendary actor Jeffery Wright may be best known for his role on Boardwalk Empire as Dr. Narcisse but it’s his part in Hunger Games: Mockinjay – Part 2 which chronicles the story of a rebellious teen who enlists her friends for an unforgettable mission that is sure to leave fans of the series speechless.
The Golden Globe winner talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about his role in the popular series, a new project on HBO and which role fans love the most.
“There’s a lot of good stuff in there that you’ll appreciate if you stick with it. The fans are rabid about this stuff. The films really have, for them, a lot of personal and political meaning. People attach themselves to this rebellious girl. There’s a lot that resonates with contemporary audiences.”
So what’s next?
“I’m filming a new series called Westworld on HBO, which will be out next year. The writing is different but very exciting.”
